Guide to the Website
If you are new to Anthroposophy and have no idea what it is, click on this.
If you want to know why this website was created, click on this.
If you are wanting to find Anthroposophical groups that are near to you, navigate to the 'By Location' menu and click on the nearest region to you.
If you are wanting to connect with Anthroposophical initiatives in a particular field of human endeavor, navigate to the 'By Field' menu and click on one of the options that you would perhaps like to learn more about, or collaborate with. You will find various professional and casual groups working with those topics.
If you are a person who is part of, or leading, a group, then this website may be of use to you. By request, your initiative can be added to this website. In order for this to happen, you must submit a request form here (location-based) or here (field-based), and then a page will be created and added to the website.
If you are organising an event, you can advertise it by creating an event on this website. Navigate to the 'Events' menu, and scroll down until you find the right category for your event.
If you are a running a course, you can advertise your course\training on this website. Navigate to the 'Courses' menu and fill out and submit the form and the course will be added to the website.
The 'Noticeboards' page on the website enables people who have created accounts to then create their own noticeboards. Other users of the website (who have accounts) can then join these noticeboards. There is also the option to create private noticeboards that are not visible and that require an invitation to join. Noticeboards give individuals\groups the ability to upload files, make posts, share images and videos and so on. Groups may like to upload, for instance, newsletters to their specific noticeboard.
Later there will be a 'Blog' on this website where people can submit articles for general viewing.
Please note that to submit any forms an account is required.
It is not yet a functionality, but in the future when creating an account, people will be presented with the choice to become an Associate, Colleague, or Co-worker of this website and meditation impulse (which has been given the name 'Anthroposophy in Australia'). The user will also be able to change this at any time in the future in their account settings.
The different types of account are:
Associate: One who simply creates an account and uses the website
Colleague: One who, in addition to having created an account, also takes on the Foundation Stone Meditation work
Co-worker: Still to be thought-out
The 'Resources' page simply contains useful resources, files, documents and links. I am not sure what the current access and upload settings are on that page, but it will be limited to people with accounts.
The sharing of research (in its various forms) is another important role of this website, but I have not yet figured out the best way to do this yet.
Any and all feedback is welcome. You all have my email address.
